Truck Dumps Metal Pieces on Roadway
Titusville, Barkeyville – Yesterday morning a truck carrying metal shavings from Titusville to Barkeyville spilled portions of its load along its route creating a road hazard that could potentially destroy tires if driven over. Despite clean-up efforts those metal shavings may still be on the roadway, now covered in snow. The truck followed Route 8 all the way from Titusville and passed through Venango County until reaching its destination in Barkeyville. The truck passed through or near the following boroughs on its path, Titusville, Cherrytree, Rouseville, Oil City, Reno, Franklin, Wesley, and Barkeyville. PennDOT and the Pennsylvania State Police recommend that anyone whose tires are flattened by these metal pieces keep them as proof for insurance claims against J&J Trucking of Kokomo Indiana. If your vehicle was damaged by these shavings you can contact J&J Trucking by calling (765)452-0494 or emailing JJTrucking@Gmail.com for reimbursement.
