Man with BB Gun Grabs Officer’s Taser
Mercer – A New Castle man named Austin Davies has been charged with multiple felonies in Mercer County for assaulting State Troopers and trying to steal one of their Tasers on Friday. A press release from the Pennsylvania State Police reports that they received a call that Davies was acting erratically while in a car with three other men and began shooting off a BB gun inside the vehicle. When Troopers arrived he refused to comply with their instructions and began to fight with them, kicking and biting three officers, and attempting to take one of their stun guns. He’s charged with three counts of assault of an officer of the law and one count of attempting to disarm an officer as well as summary and misdemeanor offenses.

No Injuries in Rollover Crash
Centerville – A man avoided injury after his car rolled over near Centerville in Crawford County on Thursday. Crash scene investigators report that 21-year-old Rocco Selinger of Freeport was driving on Cloverdale Road in Rome Township at about 11 a.m. when his car slid on ice and rolled onto its driver’s side in the roadside ditch. They say his vehicle was disabled by the damage but the driver himself was uninjured by the crash.
