Four Injured in Ambulance Crash
Spartansburg – Four people were taken to a hospital after a collision between an ambulance and a truck in Crawford County on Friday. Crash scene investigators from the State Police say that just before 7 p.m. in Sparta Township an ambulance transporting a patient between hospitals failed to stop at a posted sign on the intersection of State Route 77 and 89 and was hit by a pickup truck. All three people aboard the ambulance suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Corry Memorial Hospital; the driver of the pickup was also hospitalized but she was transported in a friend’s personal vehicle. 

Schools Closing Today, Extreme Cold Warning Issued
Northwest PA – An extreme cold warning is issued for this evening until 10 am on Wednesday, leading to a number of school closures and delays across the region. You can check Operation Weather Alert for a list of closures and delays in Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania. An extreme cold warning is issued when temperatures are dangerously below freezing where exposure to the outside air can lead to frostbite within half an hour and is potentially fatal. The warning affects Crawford and Erie Counties in Pennsylvania and all of Northern Ohio including Ashtabula, Trumbull, and Mahoning Counties.
