Sharon Regional to Reopen Within 14 Days
Sharon – The Founder and CEO of Tenor Healthcare says that Sharon Regional Hospital should be reopening within the next two weeks. Radha Savitala is a healthcare attorney who has been involved in the acquisition of dozens of hospitals and is the founder of Tenor Health Systems. She explained that she believes that the hospital is still viable, especially if it can be reopened in a timely manner. Reopening the hospital will not be delayed by a $25 million lawsuit against Medical Properties Trust, which owns the land, filed by Buhl Legacy Trust. Savitala also assured the public that Tenor had the estimated $25 million required to turn the hospital around, saying that they received $20 million in grants and loans and the remainder in investments.
