PA Man Released from Russian Prison
Washington D.C. – A Pennsylvania schoolteacher from Oakmont who was arrested for drug possession in Russia was returned to the United States in a prisoner exchange. Marc Fogel returned to the USA on Tuesday night after spending nearly four years in the Russian prison system for allegedly having medical marijuana on him. He was freed in exchange for Alexander Vinnik, a Russian national who pleaded guilty to money laundering charges.
