Parker-Lord Fire Reignites
Saegertown – A second fire broke out at Parker-Lord Corporation outside of Saegertown, less than two weeks after an explosion injured around a dozen people. Saegertown Borough Manager Chuck Lawrence informed the media that at 4:30 Tuesday morning firefighters were called to extinguish a smoldering fire that started inside the insulation of the roof in part of the building that was damaged by the explosion. While alarming, authorities report the incident was very minor and that the large presence of firefighters was standard for a structure that size.

8th Annual Beloved Community Fair
Meadville – Crawford Central School District and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund invite everyone to visit the 8th annual Beloved Community Fair at Meadville Middle School tonight from 6 – 8 p.m. Tonight’s fair features over 60 local organizations making a difference in the lives of Meadville residents. Crawford Central Students are encouraged to get fair passports to be stamped at each booth and redeem them at the prize arena for chances to win prizes provided by local business sponsors. The Beloved Community Fair also offers refreshments for guests at the food court.
