Out-of-State Visitors Arrested After Shooting
Erie – Three people from another state were charged with felonies after their arrest for a blatant Tuesday morning shooting. The Erie Police Department has charged Aaron Thomas of Detroit Michigan with 21 crimes including attempted homicide and Avery Hunt and Caitlan Stetson of Ripley New York with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and other crimes. Authorities say that in broad daylight on Tuesday morning Thomas got out of his car at a bus stop on Parade Street and fired five rounds from a handgun into another vehicle before getting back into his car and driving away. Authorities have not elaborated on why the incident happened but have said that nobody was injured.
Man Strangles Woman During Argument
Oil City – The Pennsylvania State Police charged 39-year-old Terry Loggins of Oil City with felony strangulation on March 10th. According to the police, Loggins grabbed a woman by the neck and tried to strangle her in front of witnesses during an argument. The victim did not report the incident until she was away from Loggins and after her injuries were observed a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrested the same day by Oil City Police officers and remains in Venango County Jail, unable to post bail.
