Man Puts Cameras in Krispy Kreme Bathrooms
Erie – According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a Punxsutawney man was taken into custody for putting surveillance devices in the restrooms of an Erie area donut shop. When a customer at Krispy Kreme discovered a camera in the fan above a toilet in the restaurant’s men’s room, he brought it to the staff, who called the police. 34-year-old Corry Clark came into the shop and demanded that the staff return his device, but he was refused; he was still at the location when police arrived to take him into custody. Clark is charged with invasion of privacy and possessing an instrument of crime, he was released on $2,000 bail.
Suspect Robbing Amish on Highways
Mercer – In Mercer County, police are investigating two highway robberies of Amish men in Lackawannock Township. Both robberies involved the same suspect. On Thursday, March 27th, two separate victims reported that a white man driving a black sedan, wearing a medical mask and dark clothes, and carrying a firearm, stopped them on their buggies to demand their wallets at gunpoint before driving away. John Hostetler of Mercer told investigators that a black sedan stopped in front of his buggy and the suspect exited the vehicle to demand his wallet and drove away after he received it. Levi Byler of New Wilmington reported that the suspect was in the passenger side of the black sedan when it pulled up to his buggy and threatened him before driving away when he refused to give his wallet.
