National Library Week: Volunteers Needed
Meadville – This week is National Library Week, which means Meadville Public Library is in need of volunteers to help set up for the annual Used Book Sale. Volunteers must be willing and able to lift and carry heavy boxes full of books from various parts of the library to the sale room. After the work is all completed, the volunteers will be rewarded with free pizza.
Preparation day is this Saturday, April 25th, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and volunteers should register online ahead of time. A registration link can be found by visiting the Meadville Public Library on Facebook or by visiting MeadvilleLibrary.com. Check with other area libraries to discover what events they have planned for National Library Week.
