Meadville Chamber’s Diamond Awards
Conneaut Lake – Tonight at the Hotel Conneaut, the Meadville Area Chamber of Commerce presents its annual Diamond Awards Dinner. The Diamond Awards honor local businesses and not-for-profits, but also individuals in multiple categories. Group awards include categories like New Business of the Year for businesses that have been around for three years or less, Small, Midsized, and Large Business of the Year, and Small and Large Non-profit of the Year.
There are now three individual award categories. The Emerging Leader Award honors one man and one woman under 40 who are making an impact in the business community. New this year is the Lew and Ellie Davies Community Champion Award, presented to an Allegheny College Student with a huge impact on Meadville. And finally, the big one, the Governor Raymond P Schafer Award for Distinguished Community Service.
