Phillips not Guilty of Murder
Sharon – In Mercer County, a jury found Billy Dewayne Phillips of Sharon not guilty of homicide in the 2024 death of Terran Page-Hughes. Phillips was not convicted of first or third degree homicide nor of conspiracy to commit either crime. Jurors still unanimously agreed that Phillips was guilty of other crimes, including aggravated assault. Another man, Jamal Jordan, is still awaiting trial for the same crimes. Authorities say that Jordan is the one who shot Terran in the head after a fight last August. A third man was arrested for the crime, but was never charged.
