Search for Woman Presumed Dead Cut Off
Guys Mills – A search for the remains of Debra Sue Daniel in State Gamelands 69 was ended at 2 p.m. yesterday ahead of encroaching thunderstorms; the Pennsylvania State Police based in Meadville says they will organize another search. The search involved around 100 officers from PSP, firefighters, game wardens, and over 150 volunteers. They combed a section of the game lands hoping to find indicators that the missing woman’s body was there somewhere. Searchers were assisted by AT&T, which provided mobile cellular hotspots for people to communicate in the area, which is largely a network dead zone.
Debra went missing on August 13th of 2022 and was last seen leaving her apartment at Holland Towers in Meadville with a known man. Police managed to determine the pair went to the game lands in Crawford County’s Randolph Township near Guys Mills. A new search will be organized by PSP in the near future.
