Lt. Governor Visits Mercer County
Sharon – The City of Sharon welcomes two VIPs this morning for an important milestone. Lt. Governor Austin Davis and DCED Secretary Rick Siger are visiting town this morning to officially designate downtown Sharon as a Main Street as part of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Main Street Matters program. Joining the Main Street Matters program gives Sharon access to a special block of grant programs aimed at protecting and expanding the small businesses in the community. The ceremony takes place at 10 a.m. in the greenspace on E. State Street.

2026 Crawford Gives
Meadville – We are less than a week away from the annual Crawford Gives donation drive to raise funds for local nonprofit organizations that directly support Crawford County. This year, the Crawford Heritage Community Foundation is supporting 204 different nonprofits that work in Crawford County. This year’s online donation drive takes place from next Wednesday, August 19th, until midnight on Friday, August 21st. More information at CrawfordGives.org.
