Man Injured in Crash
Crawford County – A Butler County man was hospitalized last weekend after being ejected from his vehicle on Sunday. The Pennsylvania State Police based in Meadville reports that Scott Shea of West Sunbury was sent to UPMC Hamot in Erie after rolling his Jeep while traveling on Interstate 79 in Crawford County’s Cussewago Township. Investigators claim that Shea drove off the shoulder of the roadway and into the median, where his jeep hit an embankment and rolled, forcing him through the hard top.
Man Climbs Through Ice Bins, Strips, Fights Cops at Sheet
Cranberry – Jeremy Shawgo of Franklin was charged with a battery of misdemeanor offenses after bizarre behavior in the parking lot of a Sheetz store in Venango County. Police received multiple reports about Shawgo disturbing customers and behaving oddly at Sheetz by the Cranberry mall, including changing clothes in the parking lot, climbing into the ice bins, and brandishing a knife towards at least one person. The 38-year-old was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a combat knife after being confronted by officers; he was charged with DUI. disorderly conduct, and other misdemeanors, and remains in Venango County Jail on $10,000 bail.
