Fatal Crash in Crawford County
Conneautville – A woman died in a fatal crash in Crawford County last Thursday. The Pennsylvania State Police report that one woman died at the scene of a crash in Summerhill Township near Conneautville just before 9 a.m. A teen driver lost control of his vehicle on Route 18 and collided with another vehicle in the opposite lane of traffic. The impact hospitalized the young driver and his passenger and killed the operator of the other vehicle. Investigators have not released the names of anyone involved in the incident.

A large weather front is moving eastward across the region and will deposit several inches of snow and possibly freezing rain across the area. A Winter Weather Advisory issued yesterday for Northwest Pennsylvania has been extended to Ashtabula County, Ohio, and portions of central and northern PA. A storm warning was issued in Erie County, and PennDOT reduced speed limits on Interstate 79 between Meadville and Erie to 45 miles per hour at 7:15 a.m.
