Student Fees End at PSU Satellite Campuses
Sharon – Penn State University has announced it will stop charging student fees at Penn State Shenango and six other satellite campuses that will be closing at the end of the 2027 Spring semester. Tuition will still be charged normally, but additional fees that ordinarily apply to students who seek to take more than 19 class credits per semester will be waived starting in Spring 2026, saving as much as $315 for each semester. Students with a GPA of at least 2.0 can schedule extra classes, up to 24 credits worth. The closing campuses stopped admitting students this year, but will continue to serve the already admitted undergraduate classes throughout 2026.
