Doctor Charged for Drugs
Oil City – A doctor in Venango County is facing drug-related charges. Yesterday, the Office of Pennsylvania’s Attorney General announced the arrest of 35-year-old Doctor Justin Adibi of Oil City. Dr. Adibi is charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, identity theft, and theft by unlawful taking. The AG alleges that the doctor was using patients’ identities to prescribe Oxycodone and then picking up pills himself to give to his girlfriend.  Bail was set at $50,000.

Alleged Killer Waves Preliminary Hearing
Saegertown – Clinton Rogers waived his preliminary hearing for charges of first-degree homicide and aggravated assault. Rogers, who is now 76, allegedly confessed to police in Lawrence County over two days in November that he had killed his wife, Lonene, on January 6th of 1981, putting an end to a nearly 45-year-old missing person case. On Wednesday, Rogers, who is deaf and used a sign language interpreter, informed the court he was waiving his preliminary hearing; his charges will now move to court.
