Police: Youth Counselor Breaks Child’s Arm
Harborcreek – An employee at Harborcreek Youth Services has been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly assaulting a child in January. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 24-year-old Anthony Thompson utilized a restraint device on a 12-year-old mental health patient to break the victim’s arm. Court records show that Thompson has been charged with aggravated assault against a child, aggravated assault with extreme indifference, and endangering the welfare of children, as well as misdemeanor and summary offenses.
Police Still Search for Missing Mane
Mercer – Wednesday was the 5th anniversary of the disappearance of a Mercer County man whom the Pennsylvania State Police are still searching for. On February 18th, 2021, Russel Lynn Myers left his sister’s home in Salem Township and was never seen again. Russel is a white male, 5’6” tall, and weighed around 140 pounds when he was last seen.
