Ohio Man Charged in North East Woman’s Killing
Copley, OH – After nearly two months of investigation, a suspect has been arrested for the murder of an Erie County woman on New Year’s Eve. Marcus Dangelo Price was arrested in Copley, Ohio, for the homicide of Shawna Elizabeth Pasquale on Friday. Shawna was 24 years old and from the town of North East; she was found beaten to death in the room of a motel in Akron, Ohio, on New Year’s Day. Price has been charged with multiple crimes in Shawna’s death and multiple others for brutal assaults on another woman, who survived. 

Fatal Crash
Spartansburg – A Corry man was killed in a crash in Crawford County’s Sparta Township. At 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, 39-year-old Jonathan Cole of Corry was killed just south of Spartansburg while driving on Sundback Road. Police say Jonathan failed to navigate a right turn and collided head-on with a tree, and his car continued to rotate counterclockwise until it hit a second tree. He was taken to Corry Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead soon after arriving.
