PSP Seeks Public Help in Investigation
Barkeyville – The Pennsylvania State Police are asking for public assistance in solving a burglary that happened in early January. According to PSP, on the Night of January 1st, someone used a shovel and a prybar to break into a commercial shed on Barkeyville Road, just outside of Barkeyville, and steal multiple items, including firearms. Among the stolen items are a Remington pump-action 12-Gauge Shotgun, a Winchester Model 50 semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun, and a variety of DeWalt and Milwaukee brand power tool batteries; some of these are initialed Ray B. Murder-Suicide in Lawrence County
New Castle – In Lawrence County, authorities have publicly identified two people found dead in Neshannok Township. On Wednesday, two bodies were located within a home on Blair Drive; they were later identified as Jay and Katheryn Fray, a married couple in their 50s and 60s. The Pennsylvania State Police have determined that the manner of death was a murder-suicide and have so far declined to reveal further details about the incident. An investigation is still ongoing.
