Car hits Buggy, Injuring 10
Fredonia – A head-on collision between a motor vehicle and a horse-drawn buggy injured 10 people, including a three-month-old baby, on Wednesday. On State Route 19 in Mercer County’s Fairview Township, around 5:30 in the evening, a single-occupant vehicle struck the buggy head-on at speed, injuring everyone involved. At press time, authorities have yet to disclose personal information about anyone involved in the crash. The number of people severely injured is currently unknown, but one horse had to be euthanized, and a three-month-old child was trapped beneath the buggy. This is a developing story.

Traffic Sign Falls on Driver
Meadville – A man was unharmed after a traffic sign fell on him, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Police say that on Monday afternoon, a man named Michael Bodnar was traveling north on I-79, past Exit 147 A for Meadville, when a YIELD sign dislodged from its pole and fell directly on the front driver’s side of his vehicle. Bodnar was not injured by the impact, and his vehicle only suffered minor damage. Bodnar called the Pennsylvania State Police to report the incident and leaned the sign against a guardrail. PennDOT has evidently replaced the fallen sign.
