Erie Woman Murdered in Ohio
Copley, OH – Authorities in Ohio are investigating after an Erie woman was found dead in a hotel on New Year’s Day. The Copley, Ohio, Police Department reports that the body of Shawnna Pasquale of Erie was discovered around 6:30 p.m on New Year’s Day in a room she had been staying in for about a month. According to the Summit County, Ohio, Medical Examiner’s Office, the 24-year-old had been badly beaten, which is the cause of her death. Police Chief Michael Meir says that two detectives are following multiple leads to develop a suspect.
