Mobile Food Pantry in Hermitage
Hermitage – The Mercer County Food Bank is hosting a mobile food pantry distribution in Hermitage tomorrow morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Income-eligible Mercer County residents can come to Sharon Baptist Church at 1531 George Street in Hermitage on Thursday, July 2nd, for some food staples and treats while supplies last. This is the first of three planned mobile distributions across Mercer County. Identical mobile pantries will visit Greenville and Reynolds. 

Sneak Peek of New Exhibit in Venango County
Franklin – On Independence Day only, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Venango County Historical Society is hosting a free preview of their newest exhibit, Becoming America 250. This 2,000 square-foot Smithsonian-quality exhibit features replica and actual artifacts from the American Revolution and tells the story of how Pennsylvania and the 13 colonies united to leave crown rule and found their own government dedicated to democratic principles.
