Frenchtown Ham or Chicken Dinner
Guys Mills – We’re less than a week away from the 130th annual Frenchtown Ham or Chicken Dinner at Saint Hippolyte Church in Guys Mills. From 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Sunday afternoon, take-out or eat-in meals of ½ a BBQ chicken or a hefty chunk of ham with mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, green beans, a dinner roll, plus a beverage and dessert are only $15 for adults, with discounts for youth and seniors. This Weekend Only: Shrek the Musical
Meadville – Are you going to the swamp this weekend? Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only, the French Creek Community Theater presents Shrek the Musical, a hilarious Broadway adaptation of the hit film. Tickets are selling out fast for three shows at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and a Sunday show at 2 p.m. at Allegheny College’s Vukovich Center. Tickets are $12, $10 for seniors, and can be pre-purchased at FCCTheatre.com.
