Man Arrested for Hit and Run That Injured Three
Erie – 41-year-old Joshua Bouchey of Erie has been charged with 25 crimes, including 11 felonies, concerning a Wednesday hit-and-run crash that injured three people and killed two pets. Police say that on Wednesday evening, around 6, Bouchey fled from a traffic stop and crashed into another vehicle, which in turn was pushed into an entire family, severely injuring a man, a woman, and a child, and killing one cat and one dog. He fled that crash scene on foot, but was arrested on Thursday by the Millcreek Police Department and turned over to the State Police. Bouchey is held in Erie County Jail on $100,000 bail.
Police are still investigating a separate hit-and-run that killed a man named Justin Puckley in Waterford last Saturday. They are asking for help from anyone with information about vehicles that passed through the roundabout at the south end of town between 12:55 a.m. and 1:10 a.m., or anyone who knows of a recently damaged vehicle. If you are the driver, please turn yourself in; the consequences will be less severe. Call the Pennsylvania State Police in Erie at (814)898-1641 with any information.
