Authorities Identify Murder/Suicide Shooter
Clintonville – Over the weekend, authorities in Venango County identified the man who killed his neighbor and then himself in Scrubgrass Township on Thursday. 52-year-old James Goehring, described by some people who knew him as paranoid, shot and killed a 44-year-old woman who lived across the road from him as she was mowing her yard. After that, he returned home and took his own life. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, investigators believe that the incident was related to a property dispute; Goehring had become convinced he owned part of his neighbor’s land.

Ice Cream Recall Hits PA
West Palm Beach, FL – The FDA has announced that over 110,000 cases of ice cream bars sold in multiple states, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York, have been recalled due to potential listeria contamination. Florida-based Rich Ice Cream has recalled ten of its products that were sold in 27 states, mainly to vendors and ice cream trucks, because of potential contamination with Listeria Monocytogenes, which can cause severe stomach symptoms. The recall effects lot numbers 24351 through 25156 of Chocolate Crunch Bars, Strawberry Shortcake Bars, Rich Bars, Crumbled Cookie Bars, Orange Cream Bars, Fudge Frenzy Bars, Cotton Candy Twirl Bars, Savagely Sour Blue Raspberry and Cherry Bars, and Cool Watermelon Bars.
