Weekend Crash Kills Two
Pittsfield – Two people died, and a third was airlifted from the scene of a head-on collision in Warren County. Officers from the Pennsylvania State Police say that Saturday evening, just outside of Pittsfield, Ryan Nelson of Vandergrift was traveling too fast for a right-hand turn and drifted into the opposing lane, where he collided head-on with Tyler Bean of Titusville. The crash killed both men instantly and caused a fire that destroyed Nelson’s vehicle. A passenger in Tyler’s vehicle survived the crash and was airlifted to UPMC Hamot in Erie for severe injuries. The crash is being reconstructed by the PSP CARS unit.

Charges Dropped Against Erie County Shooter
Corry – Erie County’s District Attorney has dismissed charges against a Corry man for the 2024 shooting death of his son, saying she has determined he acted in self-defense. DA Elizabeth Hirz says that upon further investigation, 72-year-old Gary Hulihan was justified in shooting his son Patrick last August and had reason to believe his life was in danger when he pulled the trigger. Patrick suffered a wound to his stomach and was driven by Gary to Corry Hospital, where the injury proved fatal. Charges were officially dismissed on Tuesday, July 1st, by Judge David Ridge.
