Meadville’s ARC Green Space Sets Example
Meadville – The Pennsylvania Downtown Center and Main Street America both recognized Meadville and the Meadville Community Revitalization Corporation for their efforts to build a better downtown. During the 2026 PA Downtown Conference in Erie, MCRC was lauded for the work done with the ARC in the creation of the ARC Community Greenspace. City planners and architects from around the commonwealth came to visit the greenspace and take away inspiration from the project for their own downtowns across the state.

Mobile Food Pantry Day
Hermitage – The Mercer County Food Bank is hosting a mobile food pantry distribution in Hermitage this morning from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Income-eligible Mercer County residents can come to Sharon Baptist Church at 1531 George Street in Hermitage for some food staples and treats while supplies last. This is the first of three planned mobile distributions across Mercer County in July. Identical mobile pantries will visit Greenville on the 9th and Reynolds on the 16th.
