CPR Courses at MMC
Meadville – Meadville Medical Center is accepting registrations for its Summer CPR classes. For non-employee registrants, the cost is $45 and an additional $20 for the optional Basic Life Saving Manual. The CPR class is a great way to learn a potentially life-saving skill or to renew certifications for professionals. The two summer classes are scheduled for Wednesday, June 17th, and Wednesday, July 22nd, at the facility on Grove Street. Call Yori at (814)333-5112 for questions or to register for a class. 

Big Boy 4014 Stops in Region on National Tour
North East – The World’s largest operating steam engine, Big Boy number 4014, made stops in Northeast OH and Northwest Pennsylvania as part of its historic Coast to Coast Tour of the USA. On its way through, Big Boy made two scheduled morning stops in Conneaut, Ohio, and North East, Pennsylvania. In North East, the huge locomotive stopped by the Lake Shore Railway Museum for a few minutes for onlookers to admire and photograph the marvel of 20th-century engineering before heading to Ripley; the engineers also made sure to chug a little more slowly along some of the more picturesque areas along their route.
