One More Deadly Crash
Guys Mills – On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania State Police detailed a second fatal motorcycle crash in Crawford County during the weekend. They report that 22-year-old Jacob Smith of Cochranton suffered fatal injuries when he crashed on Route 27 at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Crash scene investigators say they believe that Smith failed to negotiate a right turn in Randolph Township and ended up in a ditch where he was tossed from his bike and collided with a tree.

Oil City Firefighters 5K Registration Open
Oil City – Early registration is open for the Oil City Firefighters 5K. The 5K is open to runners and walkers and will take place on Saturday, July 26th at 9 a.m., rain or shine. Paper applications for the 5K are available at the Oil City Fire Department Headquarters on 404 Central Avenue in Oil City. Digital applications can be obtained by following the QR Codes printed on official 5K flyers or by visiting their link on Zeffy. Participants can also register on the day of the race, in the hour before the race starts.
