Bulldogs Volleyball Wins Big
Meadville – Congratulations to the Meadville Bulldogs Varsity Boys Volleyball Team; they won the PIAA 2A volleyball championship on Saturday. This is the Bulldogs’ 2nd State Volleyball Championship in three years. Meadville has been a dominant force on the court since 2019, when Coach Nick Bankroft took the helm, winning 131 of 135 regular-season matches, the District 10 Championship six times, and now appearing in six state championships with three wins. Congratulations to the Bulldogs on another fantastic season.

Lake City Fireman’s Carnival, Thursday to Saturday
Lake City – The annual Lake City Fireman’s Carnival starts this Thursday and runs through Saturday. On both Thursday and Friday, the Carnival starts at 5 p.m. and runs late into the night at 10 p.m. On Saturday, the carnival kicks off even earlier, starting at noon and running just as late; Saturday also features the Lake City Fireman’s Carnival Parade. Come check out the amusements by Crazy Monkey, Lake City Fire Department’s famous ox roast sandwiches, live entertainment, and more.
