Erie Fire Station was Damaged in Car Crash
Erie – An Erie Fire Station suffered minor damage when two vehicles collided right outside of the building on Thursday. According to the Erie Fire Department, two cars were heavily damaged at around 10:15 p.m. Thursday Night when they crashed into one another right outside of the Fire Station on West 12th Street. One of them ended up on the apron of the station, where it took out a utility pole and caused minor damage to the building. One driver was injured in the crash, but no further details were released about the drivers.
Pymatuning Wildlife Center to Reopen
Linesville – After more than a decade of closure, the wildlife education center on Pymatuning’s Ford Island will be reopening in 2027. Construction of a new facility that is over four times larger than the original began in late May and will have over 9,000 square feet of exhibit space for permanent and seasonal installations, according to a press release by the Game Commission. The new education center will also feature a revamped walking trail, pollinator garden, auditorium, and more.
