Miss Meadow of Miracles
Wattsburg – Wattsburg Hose Company hosts the Miss Meadow of Miracles Pageant this Saturday. Miss Meadow of Miracles is a charitable fundraiser organized by Aalysa Vanucci to help raise money for the treatment of a little girl with a rare syndrome. Lydia Meadow Neimeic has a rare disorder called Aicardi-Goutieres Syndrome, which affects the development of her brain and eyes. Much of the proceeds of this pageant event will go to help her parents pay for travel to many facilities and for the extremely specialized care Lydia needs for vision, movement, and learning.
The pageant contains divisions for Baby Miss Meadows for newborns and one-year-olds all the way up to Mrs. Meadow of Miracles for contestants over 21. Winners in each category will be invited to attend local events as guests all summer long. Miss Meadow of Miracles Begins at 10 a.m. and costs $5 to attend; bring $1 bills to vote for your favorite contestants.
