Body Identified
Wattsburg – Remains found in a burned Wattsburg home have been identified, according to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook. By using dental records, the victim was identified as 86-year-old Yvonne Dunlap, the resident of the home. Yvonne’s remains were discovered on February 26th, after firefighters responded to a fully involved fire in southwest Wattsburg. The cause of the deadly fire is still being investigated by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshals.

322 Crash
Cochranton – A woman and her grandchild were treated for minor injuries after crashing in Crawford County on the last day of February. Crash scene investigators say that Christina Will-Varela of Cochranton was entering the parking lot of a business on Route 322 when she made a left turn in front of another vehicle. The other driver failed to stop in time and collided with her. EMTs from Meadville Area Ambulance administered both Will-Verela and her passenger first aid; the other driver was unharmed.
