Police Investigate After SUV Hits Pedestrian
Erie – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by an SUV on Peach Street in Summit Township, Erie County, last Thursday. Crash scene investigators believe that a 64-year-old woman ran a stoplight when she struck a man who was walking through a crosswalk on Peach Street at about 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th. A man named Charles English was taken to UPMC Hamot for apparent injuries to his hands and face when he was hit by her RAV 4.
State News: Man Arrested for Blowing up House in 2022
Plum – Four years after an explosion in Allegheny County, police have charged the homeowner with setting the blast. 41-year-old Jacob Rabb has been charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated arson, and multiple other crimes after his arrest on Monday. According to authorities, Rabb deliberately caused a natural gas explosion at his home in Plum Township on April 22nd, 2022, while he, his wife, and their three children were all inside. They say he disconnected the gas to the family dryer to cause the blast.
