Man Flees Police, Crashes into Pond
Fairview – A police pursuit that began on Interstate-90 ended, of all places, in a pond near Fairview. According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Erie, a 39-year-old Bath, New York, man named Michael Johnson drove past a state trooper in the westbound lane of I-90. When they attempted to pull him over, he continued driving and led the officers at speeds as high as 110 miles per hour for 15 miles. Johnson left the highway and led officers to Sterritannia Road, where he failed to make a left turn and crashed into a pond. He has been charged with felony fleeing and eluding police and other crimes and is held on a $50,000 bond.

Man Pleads Guilty to Stalking in Five States
Pittsburgh – In state news, a man named Brett Michael Dadig pleaded guilty in Federal Court to charges stemming from the stalking and harassment of 11 women in multiple US states. Last Thursday, Dadig admitted in court to harassing and stalking women from Pennsylvania, Florida, Iowa, New York, and Ohio, both physically and online, then continuing to stalk and harass some of them even after they were granted protective court orders. Dadig will be sentenced in the Federal District Court of Western Pennsylvania and faces up to 55 years in prison plus fines and restitution as high as $2.75 million.
