Greenwood Crash Hospitalizes One
Atltantic – A man was hospitalized after crashing in Crawford County last Thursday night. Crash scene investigators say that Kirk Rifenberrik of Meadville suffered minor injuries after rolling his car onto its roof at around 9:15 p.m. He apparently lost control of his Honda Civic on Lake Road in Greenwood Township, causing him to enter the opposite lane and then leave the road entirely. After being extracted from the vehicle by Fallowfield Fire and Rescue, he was taken to UPMC Horizon in Greenville for treatment.

Arson Spree Lands PA Man with Charges in Three States
Pocono Pines – In state news, a wanted Pennsylvania fugitive was arrested in New York City after a bizarre crime spree in three states. Sean McDermott of Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania, allegedly set fires that burned down multiple homes adjacent to his townhouse last Wednesday in an attempt to kill spiders. McDermott fled the state to New Jersey, where he set another fire at a hotel in East Rutherford, and headed for New York. He was arrested by the NYPD at around 11:25 p.m.; they say he was driving a U-Haul filled with canisters of nitrous oxide and in possession of crack cocaine.
