Child Safety Seat Check, Sunday
Erie – The Pennsylvania State Police Erie Barracks will be hosting a Child Passenger Safety Seat Check this Sunday, May 17th, in the Parking lot of Presquile Downs and Casino. The seat check will run from 2:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. During that entire time, Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be available to check your child safety seats for proper installation and answer any questions you have about installing and using your seats. There will also be another safety seat check later this month in Albion.

Second District Honored with Award
Meadville – Second District Elementary School in Meadville received an award from the Discovery Education Foundation. Discovery recognized Second District Elementary with its Inspiring Educators Award for the faculty and staff’s dedication to inspiring learning in their students and supporting one another in an effort to do what’s best for students every single day. The school is adopting a new technology named DreamBox to help students learn reading and mathematics more effectively.
