16th Annual Villa Maria-thon

Villa Maria – The 16th Annual Villa Maria-thon kicks off on Saturday, June 6th, and online registration is still open. The Villa Maria-thon is a 5K Run/Walk starting at the beautiful Villa Maria Community Center in Lawrence County and taking participants along a picturesque two-mile-long course that leads through two states.  Events begin at 7:30 in the morning and include a free yoga stretchout session, the 5K Run/Walk, a children’s 50-yard dash, an artisan market open until 3 p.m., and more. The 5K begins at 9:00 a.m., and there is a $30 registration fee; registration can be done online or on the day of the race. All other events are free and open to the public.Register before June 1st, and you can also, for the very first time, book an overnight stay for only $35 more. The overnight stay includes supper, a second evening yoga session, and a continental breakfast. Proceeds benefit the Villa Maria Education & Spirituality Center.
