Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
NWPA – Tomorrow is the day for the nation’s largest single-day food drive. The National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger takes place every year since 1993 on the second Saturday in May. To take part, all you need to do is leave a bag or a box by your mailbox, provisioned with nonperishable foodstuffs; whatever you can give is enough. Items will be collected by your letter carrier from the USPS and then distributed to food banks around the region. Stamp Out Hunger has collected nearly 2 billion pounds of food for food banks.

15th Annual Second Saturday Community Market
Meadville – Meadville’s Second Saturday Community Market kicks off its 15th season starting tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In Downtown Meadville on Chestnut Street and the surrounding area, Second Saturday is the place to be with live entertainment, artisan vendors, sidewalk sales, food trucks, and more. Second Saturday corresponds with Meadville’s Farmer’s Market at the Market House on Market Street, where you can find organic and locally grown produce straight from the farmers themselves.
