Man Charged for Firing Gun on Highway
Mercer – A young Mercer County man has been charged with multiple crimes after police say he fired an AR-15 style rifle into the air from the passenger seat of a car. Between 1 and 2 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, November 2nd, 21-year-old Calvin Paden of Mercer allegedly leaned out of the passenger side of a moving vehicle and started shooting live ammunition from the rifle into the air, endangering multiple people who live on North Perry Highway in Coolspring Township. Paden has been charged with reckless endangerment and propulsion of missiles on the highway, along with multiple summary offenses, including littering for the casings that landed on the road and not wearing a seatbelt.

State News: Former Steelers Star Charged with Attempted Murder
Miami, FL – Former Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver Antonio Brown has been extradited back to the United States after his arrest in Dubai. Brown will be taken to Florida, where he will be arraigned on charges of attempted homicide. Authorities say that Brown grabbed a firearm from a security staffer during a celebrity boxing match for charity and fired two shots at a social media influencer he had had an earlier confrontation with. He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
