Woman Ejected from Car
Jackson Center – A 30-year-old woman was hospitalized with severe injuries earlier this month after she was ejected from her vehicle in Mercer County. According to crash scene investigators, on Sunday, November 9th, 30-year-old Amber Hedegore was not wearing a seatbelt when she crashed on Sandy Lake Grove City Road in Worth Township. She hit several roadside trees and was ejected from her vehicle when it rolled after impact. An ambulance transported her to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown, and there has been no word on her condition in the following week.
Police Chief Arrested for Guns, Drugs
Kittanning – In State News, a former Police Chief from Westmoreland County has been charged with crimes for the sale of cocaine and possession of stolen firearms in Armstrong County. Eric Doutt was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police and local authorities last Wednesday after undercover investigators allegedly purchased cocaine from Dowt multiple times. He’s also accused of taking an AR-15 style rifle that was supposed to be destroyed from department storage with the intent of returning it to the person it was taken from.
