Woman Injured when Car Hits Logging Truck
Townville – A 90-year-old woman was hospitalized after her car hit a logging truck near Townville in Crawford County. Joan Sterling was taken by ambulance to UPMC Hamot just before 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon for injuries of unknown severity after she hit the back of a logging truck head-on while driving along Johnson Road in Richmond Township. The truck was in the process of collecting logs for transport and was parked near the shoulder of the road. There’s no public record of Joan’s condition.
