Tractor-Trailer Crash
Spartansburg – A tractor-trailer lost control in rainy weather just outside of Spartansburg, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. Investigators cited Julian Smith of Tarentum, Pennsylvania, for speeding after his semi crashed into an embankment at the intersection of Route 89 and 77 in Sparta Township, Crawford County. According to the investigators, on October 7th, Smith was driving at unsafe speeds during rainy conditions and lost control of his rig, crashing head-on into the embankment by the side of the road; he was not injured in the crash.

Butler Man Arrested for Child Sex Abuse Materials
Harmony – In State News, a 20-year-old Butler County man has been charged for creating and sharing AI images of child sexual assault. Benjamin Staiger of Harmony was charged with dozens of counts of child sexual abuse for using artificial intelligence apps to create images of child sexual abuse material.  Staiger was allegedly using real pictures of children and asking the AI to portray them in adult sexual situations. He was arraigned on Friday and released with an ankle monitor after posting $100,000 bail.
