Crawford County 9/11 Memorial
Crawford County and the city of Meadville commemorate the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the steps of the Crawford County Courthouse tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony includes the unveiling of a new Public Safety Memorial dedicated to all of the county’s first responders and emergency personnel, plus reading the names of 343 FDNY firefighters killed trying to save people on that day. Meadville’s Fire Department will also be holding a memorial stair climb at the Crawford County Fairgrounds at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.; participation is free, but donations to the National Fallen Firefighters Association are encouraged.

42nd Annual Fall GAs Up at Drake’s Well
Titusville – The Drake Well Museum and Park hosts the 42nd Annual Fall Gas Up this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  In addition to the normal attractions, members of The Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society will be there with antique farm, engine, and oil field equipment and demonstrations of how it works. Every new attraction is included in the normal park admission price, and if you bring your own vintage or antique gas-powered equipment to display, admission is free!
