Veterans of the Vietnam War Post 52 Events
Meadville – The Veterans of the Vietnam War Post 52 in Meadville hosts two of its annual events this weekend. On Friday, it is time for the POW/MIA vigil from 6 p.m. until midnight; prisoners and missing men from all US wars will be honored at Diamond Park in Meadville with a candle lighting ceremony and a reading of the names of all missing PA soldiers. The Ride for Freedom happens on Saturday; staging for the ride starts at 11 a.m. at the GOAT on Route 618 in Conneaut Lake, and departure is at 2 p.m. sharp. Titusville – Tickets are still available for the Friends of Drake Well Oil Boom Historic Dinner, next Thursday, September 24th.
