Franklin – A Franklin man is charged with five felonies for calling in a fake bomb threat at Venango County’s Home Depot store last Tuesday. 27-year-old Justin Stewart called the Pennsylvania State Police last Tuesday to claim that he had built a pipe bomb at an abandoned house in Oil City and placed it inside the men’s bathroom of Home Depot. After his arrest, he allegedly described the device to the police while being questioned, but once he was questioned about the specifics of the construction, he admitted that the bomb threat was made up and reportedly told police that he just wanted to go to prison.
