Hit-and-Run Injures Chils
Erie – In Erie, a suspect has been arrested after a hit-and-run injured a seven-year-old child on the city’s East Side. According to the Erie Police Department, on Tuesday evening, a driver in a car struck a child who was riding a bicycle on East 23rd Street. The driver stopped, left their vehicle, carried the child to the sidewalk, and then drove away. Witnesses to the event were able to provide details like a description of the driver and a license plate number, leading to a quick arrest. The child was taken to a local hospital for a leg injury, but there were no public updates on their condition.
Centerra Co-Op Expands
Ashland, OH – Local farming Co-Op Centerra has expanded after completing the purchase of a grain and soybean processing facility on Tuesday. Centerra Co-Op has acquired Coshocton Grain Company in Central Ohio, adding it to its facilities. The Ashland Ohio based co-op owns facilities and stores across eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania and is the region’s largest co-op, owned by nearly 3,000 local farmers.
