2nd Annual ARMA
Oil City – Oil City sends off the summer and welcomes autumn with the Allegheny River Music, Art, and Outdoors Festival, ARMA, this weekend. ARMA starts off on Friday evening, September 11th, and the celebration lasts late into Sunday afternoon. On Friday, Oil City Uncorked Wine and Brew Walk kicks off at 5 p.m.  This 21-and-over event still has presale tickets for $30 through Thursday, and same-day tickets cost $35; a $5 designated driver ticket is also available, which allows you to visit all the stops and reserve bottles, but not to sample the wares.
Friday also features the first-ever Oil City Battle of the Bands, the Outdoor Recreation Business Contest Awards, and more. Saturday: Chalk Walk, Art Walk, silent films, and live music. Sunday has the inaugural ARMA Half Marathon. Throughout the whole event, there will be food trucks, children’s entertainment, and so much extra. Visit OilCityMainStreet.org for a full schedule.
