Pie Day: Race to End Hunger
Hermitage – The Mercer County Food Bank’s 16th annual Pie Day race to end hunger takes place this Saturday, August 1st. Online and mail-in registration are closed, but same-day registration begins at 7 a.m. the day of. Pie Day is a 5k Run/Walk at the Training and Workplace Development Center at LindenPointe in Hermitage that begins at 9 a.m. and awards prizes in multiple categories.
Registration is $22 and provides as many as 40 meals to your friends and neighbors; your registration also includes a T-Shirt while supplies last and a personal pie. After the run, stick around for live DJs, pie-eating contests, water fun with the Hermitage Fire Department, and more.
